About a girl
My name is Kerry, I’m 28, and I’ve lived my whole life in South Carolina. Ben and I “met” just a few days before Christmas back in 2004, we got engaged the day after Valentine’s Day, and married… well, about three and a half months before Guy Fawkes Day. We live in a cute, cozy house on my folks’ little farm with our cats, dogs, sheep, goats, horses, guinea pigs, and chickens. Not all of those live in the house. Just most of them.
I enjoy reading, photography, cooking, working with animals, and the Gilmore Girls. And obviously, writing, or you wouldn’t be reading this. My childhood dream was to be a veterinarian, an artist, or a princess. Or possibly all three. I like candles, flip-flops, and Oscar Wilde.
I started this blog in order to have a place of my own to share my thoughts and ideas with any like-minded people who want to read them. Often, I’ll see a story on the news or in a magazine that gets me all riled up, and it can be hard to find someone to discuss it with. And then sometimes, I’m just struck by this flash of blinding genius and must share it with as many people as possible. Anyway, if you like what I have to say, come back and visit once in a while. And if not, well… I’ll survive. Somehow.
